TASTEVINAGE – the 100th EDITION

On Friday, September 29th, 2017 was held the 100th edition of the TASTEVINAGE in the Castle of the Clos de Vougeot.

For the first time in the history of the TASTEVINAGE, this particular edition took place under the chair of an international personality:
Jeannie CHO LEE, first woman Master’s degree of Wine in Asia.
Also author, publisher(editor) of the famous magazine of wine and Lifestyle THE PIECE, the television presenter, the judge and the critic(criticism) of wine, Jeannie Cho Lee is an iconic figure of the world of the wine, considered all over the world.

During her speech, the President reminds how much burgundy wines are appreciated estimated in the world and the importance to value them. An action allowing every amateur to understand, to live and to share completely the tasting of wines of our region.

 

A SYMBOLIC NUMBER…
228: It is the capacity in liters which we find in a Burgundian room. It is also the number of members of the jury present wine tasters during this special edition.

Wine growers, oenologists, wine merchants, brokers, wine stewards, restaurant owners, presidents of wine-making labor unions are rassemlblés to select the best of the Burgundy.

This rigorous selection rewards 139 wines on 417 wines initially presented.
