This 2020 edition provided an opportunity for the Tastevinage to present its latest tool for verifying authenticity: the Tracvin, whose purpose is to check the authenticity of products on sale displaying the Tastevinage seal. In concrete terms, samples of wine are taken at random and analyzed in a laboratory to outline the profile of each wine. The analyses are then compared to those originally carried out on the control wine, at the time of labelling.
For the consumer, this new key procedure is a guarantee of the quality of the Tasteviné wine he has purchased and that it is what it says on the label.
